Capistrano Valley senior Haley Herberg won the Division 1 invitational girls race at the 44th Dana Hills Invitational in 16:15.1 on the 3-mile course at Dana Hills High in Dana Point, Calif. Herberg, who took third in the sweepstakes race in 16:00.6 at the 37th Woodbridge Cross Country Classic, broke the 2008 meet record of 16:33 set by former San Clemente CA and Stanford talent Alex Dunne.
