Cameron Yarbourgh, a ninth-grader at Del Norte High in California, won the Division 1 boys freshman 3-mile race in 16:24.2 at the 48th Dana Hills Nike Invitational at Dana Hills High in Dana Point. Yarbourgh followed his 3-mile victory Sept. 17 at the 42nd ASICS Mt. Carmel Invitational in the Division 1 boys freshman race at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego.
